BR 100 Tarp Washed. aplication

In Brazil, cargo transportation is done especially through trucks that cruise the roads from north to south of the country. The trip goes through the most varied places, through asphalt or OFF ROADS, and can last months.

The cotton tarp is especially used in trucks that transport products that have to breathe, such as agricultural food products. The amount of tarp used by truck drivers is enormous. If aligned, they would wrap the moon one and a half times and would be enough to cover an entire country the size of Portugal. If this volume is discarded, it would generate a quantity of garbage that would remain in the environment for thousands of years.

From the roads to your home
The BR 100 Tarp is the same tarp that for years has cruised around the roads throughout the country.

JRJ developed an exclusive recycling process for this tarp using a disinfection and softening process, which resulted in a resistant, soft fabric with a lot of personality, since each piece is unique and portrays the stories of the trips through the wear, patches, stamps or inscriptions.

The BR 100 Tarp is indicated for architecture and decoration projects, such as upholstery, rugs, wall lining, covers, canopies, panels, as well as applications in the fashion universe, such as clothing accessories and articles.

Available in several colors, besides the embroidery and hand-painted versions.

JRJ believes in sustainable development and knows that the future of the planet depends on the mobilization of all as well as practical and functional actions. Therefore, it signed a commitment with the Global Pact and works to broaden its Eco-Friendly fabric offerings, which is based on the principle of respect for the human-being and the environment.

This fabric has Sustentax certification, within the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) assessment criterion, proving its manufacturing within the actual sustainability-concept standards.

We recommend our clients use water-base glue, avoiding glue that contains toxic chemical components, and send this product packaging and leaflet to be recycled, looking for the location closest to you.
